But at the same time, a completely punk, reckless spirit reigns here, and among the heroes there is a girl with a guitar and a granddaughter with a grandfather in a wheelchair, with which (the wheelchair) you can deliciously dismember enemies.

Plot in Infected Shelter seems to be present, but only as a background: the starting video shows how the raiders kidnapped a bunch of people and took everyone somewhere. And now we have to save the kidnapped, destroying crowds of reptiles. Then each of those rescued will appear at our base to supply us with useful items and improvements.
The structure of the maps changes with each new playthrough. In addition to enemies, traps also pose a danger. Among the enemies there are not only bandits, but also zombies, robots, and all sorts of aggressive living creatures like rabid boars and birds. Then we activate them at the base by investing in the selected drawing the required amount of a special resource – bacteria. And after that, all these improvements and items become available to all heroes during subsequent playthroughs. In addition, from time to time you come across shops where you can buy a lot of useful things for the collected coins.
There are not many upgrades, but a lot. The authors don’t lie when they write about 170 different drawings – I spent a long time running for all the characters, and I constantly came across something new. So, we can not only increase health points, weapon durability or the likelihood of a critical hit, but also get a chance to resurrect after death, restore hit points after killing enemies, earn a discount in the store if we have a special card, and so on.

Plus a bunch of pets that you are allowed to take with you with almost no restrictions – dogs, snakes, cats and God knows who else can fly around your character at the same time (that is, fly, not run). They lick their wounds, spit fire or poison at their enemies, and so on.
Finally, after defeating bosses, new unique character traits are unlocked for each hero. Moreover, the latter come in three varieties. Each variant of each class is given its own features – both standard ones, such as increasing damage from a “firearm” (at the same time reducing resistance in close combat), and more non-trivial things, for example, the ability to deal 1,000% damage with only a tenth of maximum health.
